Nespresso Delonghi 165 Coffee Machine leaks water and coffee into capsule compartment, unclogging Coffee Spout.

Water leaking into the capsules compartment, a problem seen in multiple Nespresso coffee machines, across different models, is a result of JAMMING OF EXIT HOLE IN THE COFFEE SPOUT where the coffee is dispensed.

To see if the spout where the coffee dispenses, is semi-clogged, we will remove the capsules compartment interior, to see the inside.

How should we proceed with removing the spout WITHOUT HAVING TO DISASSEMBLE THE ENTIRE MACHINE

1st Method of unclogging WITHOUT HAVING TO DISASSEMBLE THE MACHINE.

Another option you could use is a flexible wire of 1.5mm or 2mm but it will not be as easy as the rigid cable, and it will be difficult to insert.

The 2nd cleaning method, cleaning brushes, the 2 thinnist ones will work best, will be inserted, rotated, and extracted, it is a useful method, however because of how small the holes are, it may be difficult to insert the brushes.

The 3rd cleaning method, however, realistically it is a continuation or part 2 of the other 2 methods.

To finish cleaning the holes we flipped the machine upside down, at an incline of 30 to 40 degrees under the sink, so that water can enter the spout and partially exit past the capsule press sieve. When I am able to I will put up pictures, although if you are not sure about this, do not do it, the other steps are enough.

Finally, we will be making several coffees WITHOUT CAPUSLES, so that the the exit is completely clean.

We will be running the coffee machine until the water comes out clear. If we did this all right, we will see that, inside, the water is not leaking into the compartment, it is ok if a drop leaks in but it WILL NOT leak as much water as it did before the cleaning.
