Philips HQ6970 disassembly (housing, circuit board, motor, gearbox)

Step 1 — Remove T8 screws #1

Remove three Torx T8 screws.

Step 2 — Open the housing

Use both thumbs to grasp the top and bottom of the case near the power plug.

Step 3 — Remove clamp

First lever into the gap oft the left side with the pointed end of a spudger,

Step 4 — Remove T8 screws #2

Remove two Torx T8 screws.

Step 5 — Gear, motor & circuit board

Caution: The head section with motor is connected to the circuit board via the motor's electrical connections.
